is there a simpler gwt gae tutorial?

I find that there's a lack of gae tutorial and sample code that uses
gwt as front end.

Do you have any resource to share?

Have you already seen: http://code.google.com/p/gwt-gae-book/ ? Seems to be a nice walkthrough how to create an app with gwt on appengine. I think the tutorial uses gwt-platform as a library but even if you do not want to use gwt-platform you will get a good general idea on how things work together.
