and application does not working in IE 6 , 7, 8 also taking too much
time to load data in other browser i.e. mozilla , crome .
please help me how to improve data loading performance
of annotated time line in all browser

thnx in advance

Hi.

The annotated timeline indeed has latency issues when the number of records is very high. As a first step you can verify what takes the majority of the time - fetching the data or rendering the visualization.

You can also consider using broader granularity for the data. For example, if currently you have a record for each hour, maybe having a record for each day would suffice and then the number of records would decrease significantly.

Best,
  Viz Kid

Hi Baba.

You need to view what is the best option for you. Manipulating the data in the server sounds like the best option indeed. You can view our documentation and protocols to see if there is something which can help you. Other than that, if the data is indeed big, it takes time to push it to the client side and the annotated time line can only handle data tables of some size.

Best,

Hello ,

what is the use of "displayRangeSelector" in Visualization Annotated
Time Line? Suppose I have 7 lines chart in annotation time line,
suppose "displayRangeSelector" is true then please tell which one line
show on bottom of the chart.

Below are the 2 dataMode Google GeoMap allows. If there a way to mix
the dataModes on the same GeoMap.

dataMode string 'regions' How to display values on the map. Two values
are supported:

regions - Colors a whole region with the appropriate color. This option
cannot be used with latitude/longitude addresses. See Regions Example.
markers - Displays a dot over a region, with the color and size
indicating the value. See Markers Example.

Hi.

The functionality of each option is described in the documentation. You can also easily try to play with the visualizations at the playground: http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/#annotated_time_line to see how each parameter effects the chart.

As for your question. Setting this flag to false completely remove the bottom part of the chart. By default, this flag is set to true and then the first serie is displayed in the bottom part of the chart.

Best,
  Viz Kid

Hi

Is there any performance statistics for line chart.

Number of Charts :1
Series per chart:4
Points per Series:4000

Can you tell me how much it takes to load this?

Thanks
