Logarithmic line chart - Y axis

The line chart displays the logarithmic scale correctly in my app.
The Y - axis scale starts at 100 then 10,000 then 1,000,000 then
100,000,000 and finally 10,000,000,000 and a horizontal line is shown
for each of these values (4 lines excluding the X-axis). Essentially,
this shows 4 equal height quadrants. Is there any way to show more
than 4 lines in a line chart? That is can there be more horizontal
lines shown for finer grained Y-axis?
