I noticed that the Google Chart API supports the Latex command \aleph,
but does not render \beth. Both of these characters are quite commonly
used in set theory. Is the escape sequence simply not supported, or am
I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Which chart are you using?

Technically we don't support any latex commands (not sure what is the overall support of latex commands in browsers).

Sorry
ChartMan

PS Can you please forward the example that did work for you ?

That works for the Image Charts API (http://code.google.com/apis/chart/image/) not the Visualizations API.  You could probably use that in the viz Tables (by using img tags as the cell value and setting the "allowHtml" option to true) or Org Charts, but none of the other charts support including images.

LaTeX is not incredibly well supported by modern browsers via the http://www.mathjax.org/ Javascript library. Any RFEs involving LaTeX and GViz should really be read as "Mathjax support for GViz" ;-)

(OK, one character that totally changed the entire meaning of that post. Repost:)
