Different point shapes for scatter chart

Hi,

I am using Google Visualization Scatter Chart in my application, in
that I need to differentiate the points in Scatter chart, I have
searched many sites for this, but no hope. Can anyone help me to
change the shape of the points in scatter chart.

You can change the size and color of points on the chart, but that is all.  You cannot change them to something other than circles.

Is that a limitation to this chart control? Are there any workaround
to achieve this!!!

Theoretically, you could write javascript that turns the circle SVG elements into the shape you want, but doing so would be incredibly difficult, prone to error, and potentially subject to requiring a rewrite with every new API release.

You are probably better off filing a feature request to add shape options.
