Hello,
I am plotting a ComboChart that consists of multiple ScatterCharts. And there are some overlapping points between series.
What is the best way to represent overlapping points in such a graph?

Ideally, I would like for the point to indicate in some way that it belongs to both series (for example on mouseOver, it could give details of both sets of co-ordinates, or the dot is represented with two colors).

Presently it is indicating only one point, which isthe most recent one in my code.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi,
You are correct, this is a real issue with scatter charts (and other charts, although less noticeable).

We also like the idea of having a joined hovercard for all the points under the cursor, but I cannot commit to providing it any time soon.

Sorry

Thanks for the response. I even tried using different point sizes for each of my series - but that doesn't work either. It just "overwrites" the last coordinate. Well anyway- I hope there is solution soon!

You may be able to get what you want by setting the "focusTarget" option to "category", which will display all of the data points for a given axis value in the tooltip (even if they're not stacked on top of one another).
