NumberRangeFilter, slider control keeps dragging

I have a ControlWrapper type NumberRangeFilter in my dashboard bounded to a table and areaChart. When using the thumbnail sliders the thumb moves with my mouse movement even after I stopped dragging. It looks like the stop dragging (mouse up) event isn't triggered in the control.

Is there a way to check this?

I'm running IE8 in emulated IE7 modus (Windows xp).
