Geochart API - Does Google Analytics use it?

Hello everyone!

Does google analytics use the same Geochart API available for public?
I wonder how they do some of the stuff there, like:

- color the full continent, and have a mouseover tooltip for all the continent <- this is really nice feature
- inactive mouseover effect for inactive regions

Any idea how to achieve this with the geochart api? I tried a couple of stuff with no success..

I bit of search and I found some stuff.
There's a non documented feature, in resolution, you can choose 'continents' and 'subcontinents', allowing us to color/create tooltip for a full continent area.
So I answered my first question :)

If anyone else knows how to disable the mouseover effect on inactive regions let me know.

You can't disable the mousover effect on inactive regions without also disabling it on active regions.
