Hello,

I am sorry to point to this -- pretty old -- issue:

I have tried to write a few experimental gadgets and it seems the behavior is still the same.
Is there any way how the user can select more than one spreadsheet range (and/or more other prefs) during the gadget startup?

Quick note to mention a known issue in gadgets which are meant to be
inserted into a spreadsheet..

If you have any UserPrefs in your gadget with the attribute
required="true", they might not render properly on the spreadsheet.
The only UserPref for which the required="true" works properly is the
"_table_query_url" UserPref, which is the one which allows users to
select the range in the spreadsheet for processing in the gadget.
We'll get this fixed as soon as possible.
