Hello
Copying some examples suggested by google, I have put together a page
working very fine on safari, firefox, chrome, ie8 but e7 refuses to
display my results. Has anyone any idea? my page is on
http://www.soslostpets.com/images/jumicode/phpsqlsearch_v4_test.htm
I even added a dtd file to describe my xml but to no avail..

I tried your app on IE9 and the map and cats displayed fine though cats were below map rather than on right - the only problem was with automatic geolocation which failed and put me in Toronto by default.  IE9 in IE7 mode was the same except it reported Browser does not support geolocation.

While it would not cause display problems I think you are supposed to specify 'sensor=true' if you are using geolocation to detect the users location.

Hi there
Thanks for your interest, actually the problem is not the geolocation
( the program automatically positions you in Toronto if this fails)
nor the design (I had to extract the solution from its context which
is why it looks weird),...so that's fine. I have tested it on IE9 and
IE8 but the problem is that I don't see the side bar in my version of
IE7 actually I have also tried other maps that should work with a
similar side bar but they don't show in my IE7 (http://econym.org.uk/
gmap/example_map3.htm)
Is it me or a more general IE7 problem ???
Didier
