What do you mean by "multi-temporal data"?
Different versions of the map/satellite tiles?
That is not possible using the API.
If you mean something else, could you clarify?

Hi Larry,
I want to do is to assess changes in the earth in a time frame ... for example, from 2004 to 2011. So, wondering if you can access data from 2004-2005-2006-...-2011, for example.
Thank you,
Sergio.

Not via the API (at least that I know of). If you have map data (or
satellite data) for those times, you can make a custom map that
displays that data. The google data is always the latest and greatest
they have available.

Actually Google keeps some older tilesets online but have no idea how
to access those legally.

There is a 'v' (probably version) parameter in URI of satellite tiles.
Now we are using v=89 but versions back to v=85 are still online.
