The documentation states the below and has done so since the introduction of transit mode. When will the rate limits be lifted (currently the rate of accepted requests seems to be around 5 seconds)? As I need to make shorts bursts of requests for my website to work this is really holding me back. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
"The Transit Service is currently 'experimental'. During this phase, we will be implementing rate limits to prevent API abuse. We will eventually enforce a cap on total queries per map load based on fair usage of the API."

Sorry, probably more appropriate to ask for the rate limits to be reduced. At the moment a delay of around 5 seconds seems to be required in order to get responses from the API, whereas the other modes seem to have rates in the 10ths of seconds.
