Hello,

We are planning a redesign of our main page for the 2012 season, and a
big part of this will be map based. The maps will be shown on our
public website via the Google Maps v3 API. With the introduction of
the usage limits for Google Maps in 2012, we will certainly hit the
limits for free use. There are two options for our integration, the
smaller one being 2 million map loads per month.

This will surely break the usage limit of 750000 map loads per month
available in the free version. If we pay for excess map loads, this
means we would have to pay 5000$ per month. The other option would be
to use a Premier license, however there is very few information
available on the usage limits for this and the price. I have filled
the request form, but I did not get any response yet.

Can anyone of the Premier license holders or Google Sales team tell me
which option will be cheaper for my usage pattern, paying for Premier
license or paying for excess map loads?

Best regards,
Jonas Kaufmann

Your math may be a bit fuzzy. The limit is for 25,000 per DAY. If your activity is mostly during the week, and you don't have a lot on weekends, then you'll lose free map loads for every day that the number of loads is under 25,000. If every day, regardless of the day of the week, your site gets more than 25,000 map loads then your calculations are going to be more accurate.
