In windows7 Chrome Version 22.0.1229.79m the controls of the map and it behaviour is different then other browsers. The maps are generated by google maps api v3.

The streetview control is placed in upper left corner and a small zoom control (+ and -) is placed in the lower left corner. The map can not be panned by the mouse.

This behaviour can be seen on the demo pages, see: http://gmaps-samples-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/map_events/map_events.html

The question is why is there a different behaviour of the controls in chrome between other browsers.

Kind regards Mike

Thank you, that is the issue.

reported this problem already a long time ago (26/8) for Chrome beta at stackoverflow:

I hope they solve it soon.
