I need to compare a piece of map which containts a region, by overlaping it on top of a google map. The piece of map, is set transparent enough to do the comparison.
Do you have any tip?
Is there a API funcion to handle images with the google maps?

thanks a lot

Thanks a lot Rossko, I saw the example, it is what I need
The last problem is to make the image with some degree of transparency,
is it possible? this is needed because I will compare the lines in the image with the lines in the google map. It is suppose that the image came from autocad, you know what I mean?
How would you make that image, transparent enough to compare with the google map?
