sort of caching issue ..

my site is : http://www.photofields.co.uk/

its based the std example .. and all seems to work pretty well .. but what seems strange is that when you zoom / pan .. sometimes no images are displayed.

i know it will take server time etc to load the images .. which it does .. but on google maps it seems to carry on showing the previous zoom level ...

so basically there is allways a tile displayed .. but it might not be the correct level yet untill its loaded...

is this something i can do, or have done wrong ?

(did that question even make sense :) )

That's because on maps.google.com they have implemented that effect.
It is not part of the API. If you want it to work that way you have to
code it yourself, as maps.google.com did.
