Mr B, the epost feature in Picasa forwards images directly from an email account ; i e, it does not take a detour over an email client like Thunderbird. In the event you wish to use Thunderbird, you can instead launch the client and then send the image in question from your HDD copy....

In Picasa, there are two options....either *Native Linux client, { use my default email program} or Google mail (use my gmail or google account}.... So...my default email program in my Linux (ubuntu 11.04 default email program, is "Thunderbird" over the original email program "Evolution" that comes with the Gnome desktop apps.... So, when choosing to use my default email program {Thunderbird} it should *load* and send pictures, same as my gmail email acct app. But when I choose the {use my default email program, thunderbird} I get "Error. An error occured while creating a message compose window., Please try again!" So I try again, and again, and again......  So, if one is not able to use a default email program in the linux OS, then maybe that should be noted, or removed? Also the *Please try again!* Which suggests that if one were to just keep trying to use the default email program, it just might start to work....?

And yes I could save the pics and open my Thunderbird email client, insert them into the email and send them that way....BUT PIcasa has listed either options in its features, and I would think IF THEY ARE LISTED THEY SHOULD WORK FROM PICASA! Not have to do a work around, wouldn't you say so?

Thanks
Await a further response please!

Yep, I have a basic question, and so you advises may be helpful! ;)
Here it is: I'm using a standard Linux Ubuntu 11.04, present last
update, and a few seconds ago I updated thunderbird with the g-hub
module. However, I can't find any trick about it, and don't know how
it might be used at all... :(
Could you please tell me some about this module, simply explain me the
way to use it, or for instance the way to upload a picasa pic?

Thanks for your advices, Mr B.!

Hi tashi... Picasa is a Google app. download....one of many downloads from Google....  Google is a search engine. Just search for Google if you don't have it as your search engine and when the google page comes up near the top of the page you will see "Gmail, Calendar, Documents, Photos. Reader. Sites, Web, and *MORE*.... click on 'more', and voila there is the page with all the downloads. Pick Picasa, and follow the prompts... When it is installed, it will find all your pictures, in all your folders and make a neat and orderly page of them...  Click any picture and you will notice it appear in a thumbnail at the bottom left corner of the page.... Along the bottom of the page you will see a mail icon. click on it, put in the address and away it goes.. Nice program and Ubuntu finds and load Picasa without a bother. You will find in the Applications/Graphics column...

Hope this helps....

Sorry about this stupid question Mr B., actually I thought you were a
Google pro here to answer my potential questions, and so I've
understood it was a basic/stupid mistake!
But I know what Google is and quite often use it, even with a gmail
account... (which is the main one)
So I was just wondering on this question, about which plugin I may use
onto my (greatly getting so common!) Ubuntu GNU/Linux OS to upload
some picasa pics, but don't worry about it: I've already added a
question, which address it:
http://groups.google.com/group/google-labs-picasa-for-linux/browse_thread/thread/5f936c947b7d0c7a.
And then someone may answer me once, but presently I just have to wait
for a little while and be patient... ;)

- Sorry about my answer, which actually was "just" another question
you did not need at all... :(
