"Your albums", available on the left sidebar from "Photos" takes you to
your picasa web albums.
While I firmly believe that picasa is done, the movement within picasa+
does not appear to me to make that a concrete event....

:Y)
I *agree* that picasa is eol/sol/*gone*/empty pixels/negative electrons.
It will be: no more.
But I don't believe that the menu changes on goo+ are a harbinger. They
do make it easier to just drop it, though.

So what does this actually mean? Our software won't work any more?
We'll be denied access to our existing albums unless we join google+
(which stinks badly, BTW)? What?

If we want new members, we might start a dscussion about finding
bomb-making websites. I understand those NSA people are a really funny
bunch.

When google started up I was so GLAD that somebody had taken over the
dejanews stuff. And then they put out MORE cool stuff. But somehow in
the last year or so I have begun to feel a bit uneasy about google. Not
sure if that's caused by a lot of other people having misgivings about
the do-n0-evil thing or by something I've noticed myself.
OTOH, I kind of like the display of our picasa albums as a sort of
collage via google+. Not as a replacement, just something extra.
I don't want to run chrome, and I really hate the way google+ works.
The Better Facebook guy (he has to change the name to something else
pretty soon) has made enough improvements to facebook that it's useful,
although nowhere near as good as usenet. I'm really sorry that so many
usenet-friends have abandoned usenet and migrated to facebook.

On an actual on-topic topic, we can choose to see only pictures with
faces on our computers, but there doesn't seem to be that capability at
the website. Did I miss something?

Huh? There are no computers at Fort Meade, just a mess of happy smiling
folk who like to...um...play video games. Yeah, that's right, video
games... Trust me, I know, I've been there...
