What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I try to upload a file with java -jar google-docs-upload-1.4.7.jar
pod02-VDC1.pdf --protocol https, I've tried with different command line
options and I've gotten the same error
2. I enter my login and password (I've used different accounts and I tested
the passwords on the web page"
3. I get the error "Authentification error"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the file to be uploaded and errorlevel to be set at 0, instead I
get "Authentification error"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm running google-docs-upload-1.4.7.jar, on Windows 7 professional, I've
also tested it on Mac OS X 10.10.3 and I get the same error.

Please provide any additional information below.
This started happening on May 27th 2015. I've contacted google drive
support and they say they haven't changed the policies, authentication
procedure or API

Thanks for your interest, however, this project hasn't been updated since
2011 and can be considered abandoned at this point. I would suggest you to
use the following alternative: https://github.com/google/skicka
