Free Trial not possible

Hello,

I would like to try out and use Google Cloud Platform as a private person.

The problem:

After selecting Germany at https://console.cloud.google.com/freetrial I cannot choose Private Account. However when selecting USA this is possible.

Can anyone assist me here?

Hello Jan,

Thank you for the question. Please note that Google Cloud Platform services can be used only for business purposes in the European Union. Therefore, users under the European Union will only have the option to select a Business type for their accounts. For more information, please visit this article.

I'd like to mention that you, as a user from EU, can still open a free trial account using business type account.
