Hello,

Just a friendly warning that I landed a patch[1] that slightly changes
the minidumps generated by Breakpad on Linux to use a different debug
info format so as to preserve Build IDs from the ELF headers. The
changes to the processor code to handle these minidumps landed about 2
months ago[2], but if you are processing minidumps from Linux clients
and using the latest Breakpad source to generate them, you will also
need to update your processor to ensure it can handle these dumps
properly. Symptoms of a processor not handling these would be a complete
lack of symbols for processed Linux dumps, and empty debug identifiers
listed for modules.

This applies to Android as well, correct?

Yes, Android uses the same Linux dump writer code. (This does not impact microdumps, they are unchanged.)
