ما هي SearchWiki ؟

لا ريب أنك فكرت يوماً لماذا لا أستطيع تعديل نتائج البحث التي يقدمها لك Google؟ ربما تحب ألعاباً أو مواضيع معينة على إنترنت، وتبحث عنها كثيراً مستخدمًا Google، لكنك تجده يظهر موقعك المفضل الخاص بها في المرتبة الرابعة أو الخامسة من نتائج البحث، وتريد أن تجعله يقفز إلى المرتبة الأولى. بل ربما تلاحظ أن Google لا يعرض مطلقاً في نتائج البحث موقعاً تفضله، وتتساءل لماذا لا تستطيع أن تضيفه؟ وإذا كنت منظماً بطبيعتك وتريد أن لا تضيع وقتك، لا ريب أنك ترغب في إضافة بعض الملاحظات إلى المواقع التي تجدها من خلال البحث، تذكر فيها نفسك لماذا أعجبتك وما الذي استفدته منها؟ حسناً، أحلامك أصبحت حقيقة، وبدءاً من اليوم يمكنك أن تفعل كل ذلك، وتكييف نتائج بحث Google ليلبي احتياجاتك كما تشاء، عبر استخدامك SearchWiki!

SearchWiki أداة أطلقناها لتخصيص نتائج البحث حسب متطلباتك، تسمح بإعادة ترتيب أو حذف أو إضافة مواقع معين إليها، بالإضافة إلى إمكانية إضافة التعليقات والملاحظات على نتائج البحث. وما عليك عند استخدامها سوى النقر مرة واحدة لتحريك نتائج البحث إلى الأعلى أو لإضافة موقع جديد. بالإضافة إلى إمكانية كتابة الملاحظات وربطها بموقع معين، وحذف نتائج البحث التي لا ترى أنها تنتمي إلي ما تبحث عنه. والأمر الحسن أن تلك التغييرات تبقى محفوظة ولا تضيع وتظهر أمامك كلما بحثت عن الشيء ذاته في المستقبل.

وتتوفر أداة SearchWiki لمستخدمي Google المسجلين مجاناً بعد تسجيل الدخول إلى حساباتهم، إذ نحتفظ بجميع تغييراتك على نتائج البحث ضمن حسابك في Google. ويمكنك التحقق من أنك سجلت الدخول إلى Google، بملاحظة إذا كان اسم المستخدم الخاص بك يظهر في الجزء العلوي الأيمن من الصفحة.

تسمح لك أداة SearchWiki بدفع النتائج من ترتيب منخفض إلى أعلى، انظر ما يلي:

يمكنك أيضًا حذف النتائج من صفحة نتائج البحث، وتنزل النتائج المحذوفة تلقائياً إلى أسفل الصفحة.

ويضاف إلى ذلك، أنه يمكنك كتابة ملاحظات سريعة تتعلق بالموقع لتذكر نفسك بأهميته أو محتواه، وتستطيع التشارك بتلك الملاحظات مع أصدقائك:

أما إذا أردت إضافة وصلة لموقع لا يظهر على صفحة نتائج البحث الأصلية، فما عليك سوى إضافة عنوان الموقع الذي تريده بكل بساطة:

SearchWiki: make search your own

Have you ever wanted to move around Google search results? Maybe you love online cooking games and your favorite site for the game is in the 4th or 5th position and you want to move it to the top. Or perhaps it's not there at all and you'd like to add it. Or maybe you'd like to add some notes about what you found on that site and why you thought it was useful. Starting today you can do all this and tailor Google search results to best meet your needs.

Today we're launching SearchWiki, a way for you to customize search results by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results. With just a single click you can move the results you like to the top or add a new site. You can also write notes attached to a particular site and remove results that you don't feel belong. These modifications will be shown to you every time you do the same search in the future. SearchWiki is available to signed-in Google users. We store your changes in your Google Account. If you are wondering if you are signed in, you can always check by noting if your username appears in the upper right-hand side of the page.

SearchWiki allows you to promote results from a lower position to the top of the page, see below:

In addition, you can also write quick notes about the site for yourself or to share with friends:

Adding a result that wasn't on the original results page is also very easy, simply add in the URL for the site you would like to add:

The changes you make only affect your own searches. But SearchWiki also is a great way to share your insights with other searchers. You can see how the community has collectively edited the search results by clicking on the "See all notes for this SearchWiki" link.

This new feature is an example of how search is becoming increasingly dynamic, giving people tools that make search even more useful to them in their daily lives. We have been testing bits and pieces of SearchWiki for some time through live experiments, and we incorporated much of our learnings into this release. We are constantly striving to improve our users' search experience, and this is yet another step along the way.
