Unable to configure Secure Data Connector

I'm following the steps described http://code.google.com/intl/pl-PL/securedataconnector/docs/1.3/config.html#ConfiguringGoogleAppsDomainParameters to configure SDC.
When I enter a password in https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/stxnext.pl/SdcSettings and save the form nothing happens as if the password was not saved. When I try to enter an invalid password (for example too short) I get validation errors, but when I enter a valid password there is no error and no success notification - the form loads again with blank password fields, no matter how many times I submit the form or which browser I use.
I can't configure the next step (https://www.google.com/a/stxnext.pl/UnlockCaptcha) - I'm getting incorrect credentials error after entering username "secure-data-connector-user" and password I entered on https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/stxnext.pl/SdcSettings.
When I configure the SDC agent software and run it, I get:

12 maj 2011 12:59:34,674 [main] ERROR com.google.dataconnector.client.SdcConnection  - Auth Result: ACCESS_DENIED
12 maj 2011 12:59:34,674 [main] ERROR com.google.dataconnector.client.SdcConnection  - Auth Error Message: Invalid login

I encountered the same problem.  I ended up using an alternate CAPTCHA unlock page:

https://www.google.com/accounts/UnlockCaptcha

After I used that one, I didn't have ACCESS_DENIED errors in the SDC log anymore.
