provisioning api, retrieve groups with "start" parameter

Hi:

The documentation for the provisioning api specifies the following URL for "retrieve all groups" : GET https://apps-apis.google.com/a/feeds/group/2.0/domain[?[start=startKey]]

I cannot figure out what the "startKey" refers to. I have tried the groupId, groupName and a value of "1" but they respond with an error of "invalid value".
