Google Secure Data Connector (SDC) usage ?

With more than 4M businesses using GApps, I would like to know if the "Secure Data Connector" proposed by Google to integrate GApps with its corporate system is the good one, or not ... SDC seems to be perfect for me (security, features, simple, ...) , but I'm surprised to not see much activity around it: - few discussions in the group - no (visible) activity on the project http://code.google.com/p/google-secure-data-connector/ for a long time - some issues reported on gcode are in state New for months ... - not a lot of interrresting results via google (search string = google secure data connector) - no real community found on that subject ... In case, I receive many responses (I hope), I give you the possibility to answer via this form. if you are also interrested by the outcome of this review, leave me your email, I will forward you the results ! we want to integrate some specific software developed internally, and we would like to know if SDC is the only solution to connect corporate system with Gapps or if there is some alternatives ?

as we want to stay independent, we will do integration our self ...

Thanks for the information. We have recently developed the connector for a customer where we integrated with their proprietary systems. This was done without the SDC as they had issues with maintaining SDC based deployment. Let us know if we can share our experience with you and your team.
