Hello,

Is anyone getting 100% timeouts? Haven't ever seen this, turning away about 100 qps right now. No changes to my code in days.

No sign of this being for anyone but me.

Help!

Kevin

Me too. My app has had 0 instance running since 5:38 PM EST due GAE errors. I've filed a support case, and emailed contacts in Google. Still waiting to hear back.

This can't be a coincidence that it happened EXACTLY at the same time they announced PHP general availability.

Yep, we're basically down, too: http://www.rhino3d.com

Tons of 503 errors, none logged to the GAE logs in the admin console.

I'm running Python, although that doesn't contradict your theory at all.

Interesting, I'm all 500s all being logged.

Something tells me the CL looked something like this:

- available_languages = {"go", "java", "python"}'
+available_languages = {"go", "java", "php"}'

In the last couple minutes, instances started spinning up and handling requests.

Yes indeed. We're back up, too. As frustrated as I get when this happens, it doesn't take me very long to remember how glad I am that I'm not maintaining any of this infrastructure :)

Python app here. 1 hour downtime. All requests timed out. Seems normal now.

Down again for almost an hour. More than 30 errors/second. 4 dynamic instances, 1 seems to be handling all the load, 1140ms latency. Other instances are silent.

Had the same problem for 5 hours. I took my app out of google app engine, until I get some answers.

This issue seems to be random and not affecting all users so it's not getting much attention. Since this week, I've never seen such problems in 1+ years running python on app engine.
