Deploying to App Engine stopped working overnight

Hi all,

Has anybody had any issues with deploying to App Engine today? (5th Dec 17) 

A PHP project I've been working on doesn't seem to work when I try to deploy it. I had no problems yesterday and have only updated a few images in the project since then.

Now when I deploy, it uploads the project files but then hangs when it comes to updating the service, and eventually the gcloud console times out.

I've tried reverting back to the old version of the project (which deployed with no issue yesterday) - still get problem.

I've tried deploying to a separate App Engine project - still same problem. 

I can't seem to figure out what the problem is, there doesn't appear to be any outage info anywhere. I've never had an issue before like this with several similarly structured projects.

Any insight greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I am having the same issues (for a Java project) for the last 8-9 hours. Cannot deploy same or new versions, deploy process times out.

I've already opened a ticket, still no answer...

Hi,

I also had already opened an issue, and I have starred yours. Some AppEngine issues have taken 3 years or more for Google to resolve, so you'll have to be patient.

To deploy, I use the unfortunately soon-to-be-obsolete Eclipse plugin. Deploying an application using the new Cloud Tools for Eclipse to a new AppEngine project seems to work.
If Google would provide a way to migrate a multi- service (modules, backends, or whatever the name du jour is) I would have done it. Unfortunately there is no documentation about this. So I'd like to use the 'old' way for now...

You are lucky! My projects still don't deploy. Same message. :(
No response or acknowledgement from Google.

There is currently a known issue where deployments may take longer than normal or fail. The engineering team has identified the issue and have been applying fixes to each deployment cell. All further communications will occur in your Public Issue Tracker.
