Hi,

Sorry for being 'that guy', but is there any kind of ETA for the search API becoming non-experimental? Early next year maybe? :)

Thanks,

Stephen

What happened to the mail related changes that were included in the
pre-release release notes? In particular the new mail quota (which
wasn't detailed) and the fix for not getting bounced emails messages.

Hi Stephen,

We don't have any ETA to share atm, but please continue to report "Full Text Search" bugs and feature requests during the experimental phase:

The engineering team is actively monitoring new issues for this component and this will definitely contribute to stabilize the API.

Hope that helps.

Open Finder, locate GoogleAppEngineLauncher app, ctrl-click it and choose open. It will ask for confirmation. Confirm and you're set.

Or (worse option): go to system preferences, security and allow applications from anywhere (default should be from mac app store and identified developers)

Hi Shilendra,

Not sure if this is specific to your project or not.

Would you mind asking a question on http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/google-app-engine to see if others developer in the community have the same issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi pdknsk,

Thanks you for raising this, unfortunately this specific change couldn't make it to this release, but we are actively working on getting it out next.

Hope that clarify the situation.

I work in MacOS and Ubuntu environments, first time in a very long time that I did not have to patch the SDK to get pycrypto to work in any of them. Thanks!!!!!!!

pre release notes stated that channels will work even if created from different versions/backends, but not mentioned here - did it make to this release?
w/o this apps that use channels can not use traffic splitting

Hi Aleksei,

Thanks for raising this too, unfortunately additional testing revealed problems with the approach we used to solve that issue. We are currently working on another solution, you can follow this bug to be notified of our progress:

Hope that helps.

Hi,

It doesn't look like the 'distinct' functionality can be accessed via NDB, is that correct?

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the report, can you fill a bug on ndb issue tracker?

Thanks in advance.

"DISTINCT for Datastore queries is now available as an experimental feature."

Any docs on how this can be used?
(I mean, apart from simple / obvious usages - e.g. "select distinct u.email from User u")
