The new improvements to appstats are AMAZING! Thank you to whomever worked on it!

Make sure you enable them (at least to try them out). In appengine_config.py:

  appstats_DATASTORE_DETAILS = True

  appstats_CALC_RPC_COSTS = True

Jason, I see appstats_CALC_RPC_COSTS in the docs but I do not see appstats_DATASTORE_DETAILS documented anywhere. What does it do?

Look at google_appengine/google/appengine/ext/appstats/sample_appengine_config.py - there's all sorts of good stuff in there.
