Raise limits on number of apps

Is it possible to raise the number of apps I am able to create. It seems I have run out but I have not created 10 apps. I have been added to a few apps I did not create and this seems to be affecting my quota. Can I have my quota raised or not be charged for apps I did not create?

Have the owner of the apps change your Role from Owner to Developer. Then, the app will not count as one of your ten.
