Hi,

Is it just me or is the datastore latency shooting through the roof? My app is literally standing still for 10 seconds per request. Why is everything so unstable with App Engine? There's no pricing stability and there's no service stability?

I'm sure everybody right now is going to the system status to see whats up. Let me make it easier for everyone:

This issue has already been brought up with no reply. The HRD has
started to see spikes and increasing latency like we used to see with
M/S. I think we all would feel a little better if this was addressed
in some fashion. We all remember how bad the latency was with M/S...
Almost unusable.

My service is already unusable right now, especially during the middle of a marketing campaign.

Thank you Google. One more reason why we're working our butt off to migrate off AppEngine.

Hi Jamie, this graph is for M/S, not HRD, I answered the question about HRD latency in the this thread (albeit recently): http://groups.google.com/group/google-appengine/browse_thread/thread/e7ff2da55e00b0f2/

In terms of M/S right now, it appears to mostly be an issue with the tablets under the apps that we get that data for the status site from and not a widespread issue.  We are working on making the status site more accurate for M/S in general, not M/S in the specific.  But all other indications is that M/S is generally performing as it has been.

Greg you are right! I hadn't seen your reply yet but it's great to
