Error while uploading to new version

Hi,

I have

 Eclipse 3.5

 GAE 1.6.3

I am currently running my app version 1. When i try to deploy the same app through Eclipse option with a new version(say 2.1), it gives an error w.r.t the version not existing.

On My app engine console, i could not find any option to create a new version.

In app-engine.xml, i change it to <version>2.1</version> and deploy it through eclipse, it fails to deploy with error saying 'could not the version 2.1'

Can i canyone pls let me know how to deploy to a new version?

You can't use number in the version. Use something like "2-1" instead of "2.1"
