Our team is trying to build a fairly staightforward app using GAE. We
have invested hundreds of hours, yet they want to drop this
environment. They are having these problems:
(1) One of them became blacklisted in the course of development and he
cannot see the app he is deploying
(2) What they see in the Eclipse development environment is not what
appears in the hosted development site. When they deploy, we
routinely see buttons disappear, functionality not work, etc.

Any suggestions off the top of your head? Thanks so much,
Dave Donohue

You need time to learn gae, just as you need time to learn other cloud
hosting services.

You will need to post questions about specific problems in order to get helpful answers.  Do you have Javascript files that are cachable and out of date?  Do you have Google Maps using a development server key?  That sort of thing can stop other scripts from executing.

At the end of the day your app serves up HTML, JavaScript and CSS... it makes no difference to the browser if that is coming from GAE or a linux rack.
