Are the more python than java GAE apps?

Which is more deployed, Java or Python apps? Is that statistic official? I use python for most of my apps and I could believe that python is the more popular environment choice.

You can get a quick guide to the relative popularities of the SDKs by
looking at the SDK download counts.

I am not sure that would be fair numbers. Our app is deployed to over 500
domains. Are we 1 app or 500?

The vast majority of Java users install the SDK through Eclipse. This
won't show up in the Google Code download counts.
