There are presently a number of ways that you can implement custom search on your website. Could you provide a link to your page so that we can see exactly what you're dealing with?

I want to remove the clear button from the Google Custom Search that i have placed to my website.
From the Look and Feel Page i have selected the Minimalist theme with the Google hosted layout.
However, there is no option to customize the clear button (so that you could remove it)
There were possibilities of removing in V1 by putting display:none in the CSS, but what can you do now that the content is loaded through AJAX?

The search on that page points directly to the CSE. You don't have any real control over that page because it's hosted on Google. If you're using AJAX or Custom Search APIs somewhere (as your previous post would indicate), please provide a link to that page, working or not.
