I'm having trouble getting basic calls to google.load(..) to work for _any_ library when running it on a PhoneGap/mobile application. (So to be clear, not Chrome on Android, but WebKit-wrapped native app built with HTML/JS.) Is this supported for mobile apps?

I have several sites that use google.load successfully with mobile applications targeting Android and iOS. I am curious if you could provide a link to your site/app so that we could take a look to see what may be going on.

All I did was create a new PhoneGap app, load up Google's JS API (both with and w/o a key), and tried google.load. While it never threw an error, the callback never fired. As to the key, I'm not sure what Google expects out of folks who use HTML-based native apps. I gave it a domain (from my blog), but obviously on the mobile device it has no domain. I also tried w/o, loading jquery for example, and got the same result.
