Can we use live Admob ads on beta testing in Google play?

Hi Manoj,

On beta testing, you can enable live ads and distribute them but I would still recommend you to enable test ads until you completely go live with the application. Test ads are recommended when the app itself is under development.

I completed my development(almost all bugs cleared out)..I just want to do a beta release to see user experience on other supported devices . I can't add the device ID of all the testers, So wondering how could i use test ads on beta release...as I would like to take same apk to production...as there is least chance of bugs..

I just want to make sure that my admob account wouldn't get suspended on displaying live ads as these beta tester are also live users, Am I right?

Hi Manoj,

The Test mode is only during building and developing. While on beta testing, you are free to include you live AdUnit ID. Though you can still use our test Ad Unit ID during the beta testing.
