Hello,
We are using to load ads from DFP
there are times when we call the SDK using this command:

GADAdLoader adLoader = ..........;

DFPRequest *req = [DFPRequest request];

req.customTargeting = userAdKeys;

[adLoader loadRequest:req];

sometimes the first time we enter the view controller there is not network call.

Also part of the times we get an error that there is no ad to serve altho we can see ads the next time we enter.

Thank you

Hi Sagi,

Couple of things here -
  • Can you first try with our sample app? It might be due to some implementation issue.
  • If that doesn't work, then you can send us your Ad Unit ID with your Template ID and we would be able to look into it. Do send us your Line Item as well.
Thanks,

Hi Sagi,

Generally you can provide us the DFP ad unit ID, and that would suffice.  Let us know if the SDK throws any error codes in the log, as well as provide us the info that Arjun requested.

Thanks,

This is my Ad Unit ID "/6001/sek.mobile/app_ios_fundmatch/qps"
But it happens in other also, almost across all my app.
I don't see error in my log.

Hi Sagi,

I can see the ad request going out on my end.  But, I'm not getting back any ad to show.  Would you mind checking your targeting option / frequency capping and make sure a creative is targeted to that ad unit ID?

If you don't see an ad request at all, check to make sure there is no other blocking method in your implementation that might be delaying the invocation of loadRequest.  This stage is purely local and doesn't involve any network, so if anything, it would have to be in the code.
