Is it possible to monitor system level metrics with god?

Hi List,
I am looking to monitor system level metrics such as disk, cpu, memory and I noticed god, but I was wondering if anyone has successfully used it for those purposes who could provide some pointers.

Me too, is possible to trigger and event based on cpu usage or ip change?

Hey Zippy.

It isn't the purpose of god. God can monitor those "metrics" for processes but it's not a tool for system wide monitorization.

Should we use the process "init" (pid = 0) for system wide monitoring?
We may need to write some special conditions as in
https://github.com/mojombo/god/blob/master/lib/god/conditions/
