Recently started getting the following error message on Firefox:
"There was an error submitting the following bookmark to Google"

The bookmark will be added in the GMarks sidebar, but will disappear on GMarks refresh. All other manual changes in GMarks also disappear on refresh.

Upgrading FF to 8.0.1 and GMarks to 1.0.3.4 did not solve the problem.

Have also started seeing a pop-up asking for authentication to Google Search History (whenever FF starts). I strongly suspect that these two are related.

+1 for this though I'm still on FF7.01 and GMarks 1.0.3.3.

I have the same problem! I use Gmarks for a long time, but recently, I
think Firefox 10 (but I don't know), Gmark does not work correctly
anymore!

Google Bookmarks has an authentication problem that they have yet to acknowledge. It affects all systems, all browsers including Internet Explorer, and all versions of software. The problem appeared about three or four weeks ago. Users around the world have lost access to their Google Bookmarks because Google can no longer recognize their passwords. I'm not sure what happened, but it happened at the Google server, and you cannot fix it by updating your system. No one can. Google has to address this problem. I'm wondering why we haven't seen some official response from Google on this serious issue.
