shortcut for sidebar

Hi people, after having test a lot of ad-ons for firefox to use my
google bookmarks, i have found gmarks... the best of all!!!

really cool idea the sidebar!!!

one feature is missing: like ctrl + B for bookmarks, it would be very
cool if i could turn on and of my sidebar with a shortcut

really cool. is it something new?. maybe it is good to write the
shortcut at the entry under "view/sidebar/", sothat all people can use
it.

ok, now i was disapointed, because Alt+M didn't work on my mac... it
works fine under windows. what is the shortcut for mac? opt+M is
minimize, alt+m is the character µ, ctrl+m is nothing.

You can change the shortcut in about:config, you might need to restart after that though.
search for gmarks.keys.sidebar.
The modifier can be a space separated list. http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/XUL:Attribute:modifiers

Hi,

first of all many thanks for this great plugin! I really like it. No trying to change ALT+M shortcut (which works well) to CTRL+B (which is more straight forward to remember). But it does not work for me :-( Some ideas? I changed gmarks.keys.sidebar.* alt->ctrl & m->b and restart Firefox, but CTRL+B still opens normal bookmarks.

You can try the firefox addon "keyconfig" (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=72994) to view and change firefox keyboard shortcuts.
This addon helped me to solve key conflicts in many cases.
Try it tell us if it help you.
