Sorry for this.
Easiest way is, considering the amount of dependencies, to just use
debuild, provided by the devscripts package.
Then,
$ git clone git://
gitorious.org/melt-debian-package/melt-debian-package.git
$ cd melt-debian-package
$ debuild
You might have to install some of the build dependencies.
