And now, boys and girls, Unca Spooge has a cautionary tale about something
wicked coming from Viz Comics. They've already infested America with the
Pokemon, which led to the Digimon and even those half-assed Monster Ranch

We appreciate it. Basically I didn't have time to WRITE it due to another
cancer scare regarding Carole, which thankfully didn't materialize. Kept us
running back and forth to the doctor a lot though.
So I postponed the book rather than it being incredibly late.

And it's a darned good book on top of that! And the rotating artists
means that if you don't like the look of a specific issue for some
reason, the next issue or two will have someone different drawing it
which you may like better.

Oh, shit!! I'm VERY glad to hear this was a false alarm this time!
Now get writing quickly so you can be ahead of the game the next time
you get a scare.
And I agree with postoining the book until it is ready. Sure, I'd
love to see it more than 2-3 times a year, but I'd rather wait for a
great issue than have you rush out a mediaocre one.

Damn, it's been too many years since I've seen Amazing Heroes
anything. I wonder if a special issue can still be produced? :)

Well, we all have a face that we hide away forever
And we take them out to show outselves when everyone has gone
Some are satin, some are steel, some are silk and some are leather
They're the faces of the Stranger but we love to try them on
Billy Joel, "The Stranger"
Unfortunately not. Fantagraphics sold the title years ago and the current
owner is sitting on it, just like the owner of the title GAY COMIX. Carole
and I were looking into publishing that one also.
Mike
Could be worse. They could be using 'Amazing Heroes' instead of sitting
on it. I ordered the last *Amazing Heroes Swimsuit Special* without
realizing the title had been sold. It contained nothing but pinups of
the new owner's godawful superheroines. Blechhh!

Yipes!!! Glad to hear it was a false alarm this time!!
If it is not a sore topic, may I ask what the current publishing
schedule now looks like? I am anxious to see this issue and then
especially issue 36, based on your teaser. It sounds like the
storyline is about to hit a major turning point.

I never saw the Amazing Heroes swimsuit issues, they started after I
stopped being able to get the book on a regular basis.
But I do agree, Hit the Beach is NOT enough :)
