Timestamps with ODK

Hi
I am using ODK to conduct a survey and i want to have automatic timestamp after each section.
Please help me.

I think the closest you can get to this functionality is to add a relevant to a calculated item (with calculation: now() ). The relevant could check whether the last question of the previous section was answered. This is not foolproof, though as you can't really guarantee the order in which questions are answered.

Hi Martijn,

I have try the now() function but the timestamps looks like this “2013-11-23” and I want to have the exacte time not the date.

Is there something I have not do ?

Make sure the data type of that now() prompt is dateTime and not date.

Also, I agree with Martijn. The timestamp approach he suggested is
likely to be unreliable. I'd encourage you to test extensively.
