OK, I've switched
fltk.org's web site to the original page.
It's mostly working, though there are likely some hiccups and missing bits.
Please be patient while I shake out the website to get it used to its new home.
Things that work (I think) in order of importance:
FLTK Library:
o Downloads (see caveats below)
http://www.fltk.org/software.php
o Bug reporting through the STR system works (see caveats below)
http://www.fltk.org/str.php
As far as I can tell, you can report bugs, receive emails about them,
make attachments, devs can login and manage them, etc.
o Documentation links
http://www.fltk.org/documentation.php
o Articles (viewing, submitting?)
o Forums
http://www.fltk.org/newsgroups.php
You can view the newsgroup archives via NNTP and the web interface,
but you CANNOT POST.
The only way to post is via the fltk.general google group here:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/fltkgeneral
Caveats:
o Downloads: not all tar files are in place yet.. working on restoring those.
o The STR bug system: *attachments* were lost due to the crash.
you can probably get some of them back by looking at the fltk.bugs and
fltk.dev
NNTP archives, but attachments above a certain size, Mike tells me, weren't
cc'ed to the groups, so large attachments are, quite simply, 'lost', AFAIK.
o Forums:
-- You *CANNOT POST* through the
fltk.org web interface.
The only way to currently post is to join the fltk.general google group:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/fltkgeneral
-- The search feature doesn't work completely yet.
(It shows matching headers correctly, but the message links aren't right yet.. WIP)
o All email addresses for *@
fltk.org are offline until further notice.
o The mailing list was lost in the crash, so you'll have to resubscribe to
fltk.general on google groups:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/fltkgeneral
Probably all the fltk groups will be recreated as google groups.
Their contents will be cc'ed to the above NNTP and
fltk.org web interface,
but to post you'll have to use google groups, because the mailing list was lost.
There's probably other stuff.. but I think the site is working enough to put it
online as is.
Please reply to this thread if you notice hiccups beyond what's reported here.
