   There is no option of getting file path.Because of some security reasons this facility is not available in flex web application.I also faced same problem but didn't get any solution from my side i telling use html for that option.

Remember, in flex, if it is web app then no way to get the file path because of some security reasons, but if it is desktop app, then u can get it
