Its for Flex 3, but works in 4.1 perfectly and may work in 4.5 or later.

I think use <a href="http://www.xflip.com/">flipbook software</a> is also a good choice,  you can download the XFlip software trial-version to try.

You can use kvisoft flip book software to create flip book example. It allows people to convert PDF or image files to flip page book without programming skills!

I think you can use some free tools to create flipbook from your existing PDF files. I got two free tools of such use:
1. Flipsnack
2. Issuu

Besides, you can also sue the paid tools like flip book creator mac.
