UU White Supremacy Teach-in this Sunday

This Sunday, April 30 we will join with over 400 UU congregations nation-wide and around the world in a Teach-in.  What does this mean? Our Worship team will offer a special service reflecting on racism and white privilege in our religious movement, congregation and lives.  We will name systems of oppression and recommit ourselves to better living our values.  For more information about this historic event, read HERE

Instead of starting in the service, children in Kindergarten,1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades will begin in the Emerson Room at 10am for an Opening Circle led by Jan Hutslar, our Ministerial Intern and Anderson Manuel, our Gospel Choir Director. They will explore racial justice in an age-appropriate way before going to their classes as usual with their RE teachers. Little OWL, Middle OWL and Neighboring Faiths will begin in their classrooms at 10am. We will reserve pews in the Sanctuary for our Neighboring Activists to attend the worship service together. Please join us for this important event in our religious community.

RE Family Survey
