Join us! Advocates for Women’s Empowerment (formerly Reproductive Justice) at First Parish in Concord, is organizing a charter bus to transport participants to the march. The march is intended to be peaceful and positive, bringing people together in celebration and solidarity for the protection of women’s rights, safety and health.
Details:
The bus will leave on Friday night (January 20th) and return early Sunday morning (January 22nd). Participants will sleep on the bus.
The cost is $120 per person. Checks should be made out to First Parish. The memo line of the checks should say “Bus trip to Women's March in DC.”
Act fast, before seats sell out. First preference goes to First Parish members and their friends, but the larger Concord community is welcome, after December 6, if seats are available.
There will be a table at coffee hour after the service this Sunday where people can purchase tickets. The deadline to purchase tickets is December 30, 2016.
Note that there is a possibility of renting a second bus for the entire weekend. For this trip, participants would sleep 2 nights at a UU church in Virginia instead of sleeping in the bus. Please contact Jennifer Izzo (jbi...@hotmail.com; 617-869-5563) if this option is of interest.
