Another handy release, thanks everyone. Very timely and sensible response to the awful tab switching lag. I guess the last remaining question on that problem is why it has only surfaced recently. Surely the old JS Debugger has been in use for the whole of Firebug's lifetime but it's only started causing this substantial switching lag problem in the last 2 months? Not sure if anyone feels like answering the question but I'm certainly curious enough to ask it :)

If you want to help us, you can try to find the range of commits within this got significantly worse.

I created a test build with a patch (a workaround) included. It should solve the problem.
